Pursuit to and in compliance with the Code of Viginia § 2.2-5517 the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office operates 4 Automated License Plate Readers effective August 1, 2026.

RCSO camera network will not be active until 08/01/2026.  We are in the process of setting up a transparency portal, which will provide summary information regarding camera usage.  We anticipate this being available within the next 7-10 days.
